Microsoft has apparently seen fit to incorporate some of the developments reported in its Surface table in a special "touch pack", which will be supplied with Windows 7. This is a suite of three applications including a virtual globe (I tested it with Surface bluffing), application management files, and famous aquarium "wallpaper". Manufacturers of portable Touch provide this option by default, and other publishers are starting already to develop this new technology, as shown in this video:
