Inquiry Johan PETRE, Cdh councilor for the next board.

SAFETY AROUND SCHOOLS

Mr. Chairman,

Child safety and families, it is about today and in our daily lives. Safety, it is the desire of all!
The HRC has made this a priority for 3 years now and especially near our schools.
Survey - Conferences - Actions concrete ... The means to educate, empower.

During one of our actions in early September, which was not our astonishment to see the municipal authorities to join our project?
What joy to see the police, municipal officials and activists gathered Cdh for the same purpose before the municipal school of La Motte.
Is it a lucky day? A coincidence? A Coincidence? Or simply ... an awareness of a real problem.

In any case, the group welcomes the Cdh followed by the municipal authority in the citizenship project!

However, there remains still some troubling questions ...

By early September, we began our work by leaving the school in St. Lambert, on September 9th to be precise. Not only for the same problem in all schools in the entity but also for strengthening, Mr. President, your promises outlined public lecture in front of the director last year.

I summarizes the situation somewhat "quaint."
In this school, volunteers attended the training organized by the police zone. (2005) A training long and heavy to hold the safety out of school.
Second, completion certificates to practice the movement have been lost in the move, according to you.
So the area chief has asked the federal duplicates that have been issued in your services, according to my latest information.
We are in 2009, still ... no credential?? Yet the police office is not so far away? I hope they are not lost a second time?
The safety of students and families of St. Lambert School Is not a priority?
When will they receive the certificates in this school?

September 16 ... move ... Even to the elementary school of La Motte. With the surprise of the presence of police officers and see ... BRAVO!

I would, however one small point: When an officer finds an outlet to come to school, I guess that's to see. ... So is it possible the next time they see instead of handing out leaflets!

Another bit of advice: if this issue is a priority for the communal moment, can we repaint the crosswalks near schools? And before any school in September!

Finally, the group hopes that Cdh your awareness was not a single ray of sunshine in the gloom of Wednesday, 16/09 but the illumination of a secure atmosphere for our families COURCELLOIS ... there is a real project for citizens behind this problem.

Could we have, also, the other dates of demonstrations near schools, because this is PRIORITY communal responsibility of all political parties?

security ... we are all concerned!

Thank you, Mr. Chairman

Johan PETRE, Municipal Councilor Cdh
