What Is Good To Write In Engagement Cards

At least it is original: A portable dual screen

A nice little novelty presented at the MSI booth at the last CES. A portable dual screen. Watch this video demonstration:

Natal where the recognition of how movements will revolutionize the software

It is hard to believe that all investments by Microsoft for many years for touch interfaces, were not made in vain ! For almost 4 years since I run this blog, I relayed the information as soon as seems sensible, technological advances in this field.

Three years ago, I began to talk about area .. In February 2009, we were the first to demonstrate Microsoft Techdays this amazing touch table at our booth! Today, the market believes, and it is clear at recent trade shows where I went, that very many companies have installed to operate only the potential of this technology.

A year ago, I was talking about Natal ...

Well here we are almost there ... Father Christmas next year may be extremely nice to you, and it will take you under the tree, an Xbox (for those who did not) Natal and a camera ... Just look at this new short film presentation ....

remains a huge question to our friends from all walks developers .... It will take you to go out of your traditional patterns programming software to reinvent ourselves! With the technology of motion recognition, imagination will be in power, and design constraints imposed on the architecture for you, we will have to reckon with that! Analyze the postures, movements, interactions ...... We may see anatomy courses in engineering school??

Johnson Brothers Olde English Countryside

We will not stop the progress ....

few months ago, we started talking about overhead projectors thumbnails ....
was not counting on the imagination of our friends Correena certainly doped George Lucas in early childhood. We can see here (relayed by the site Gizmodo), a mobile phone that embeds technology retroprojection ....

With a little imagination, one could imagine R2D2 projecting the hologram of Princess Leia in the cave of Obi Wan ...

Sympa also for all the "workers of the sale" homeless who will no longer bothering to take heavy luggage into their systems ..

When Is The Bloods Initiation In 2010

Controler Odin with his muscles ... Touch screens

Decidedly, three posts in one day! But I admit that these experiments on HCI have something exciting! Here is a recent laboratory work Microsoft, and that surprises me a little. There is much talk right now with the release of Avatar's James Cameron film, but a few weeks ago, Surrogates, starring Bruce Willis, had already cleared this matter.

Here you can see the muscles controlling human applications ...

This suggests that controlling an avatar is not so far away??

For this second post in 2010, still an innovation, but less surprising than the last, since already relayed repeatedly on this blog. This new system of projection of the company Light Blue Optics, which allows remote operation of the HMI on a coffee table type support via an overhead projector and capture movements on the projection area.

can see this in the first image principle of back projection, and then in the second image, a meeting between several participants have this technology, and benefit from a keyboard and a screen on a restaurant table .... Handy for people who eat breakfast alone!

This "pico-projector" generates an image of 10 inches that can be projected onto any surface type, but it must be near the projection area. Using Adobe Flash Lite 3.1, it has 2GB of flash memory and a MicroSD card slot. It also has Wi-Fi & Bluetooth.

touch ...... no hands!

First, for this first post of 2010, I wanted to wish my "too many readers," all my wishes of happiness, success, but especially health (and health in this period, I tell you that this is what is most important, believe me!).

The ecosystem of tactile interfaces is undergoing a revolution. We all remember the cash registers of restaurants (I remember working with my colleagues on a project Pizza Pai in 2002) with their colorful touch pads, and the first GSM touch from HP (some ten years ago) . So the idea is not new, and for those who remain convinced that Apple has invented a concept, I encourage them to return to the history textbooks of computer science.

Every day, thanks to my subscriptions Keywords Google, I get dozens of warnings about this type of subject interfaces (touch, multitouch, and so on and best), and I confess that by relaying the news of the smartphone, there's not much new on the horizon, made by the project Natal area and a few other examples I relay here .....

And there, oh surprise this January 6, a small piece of film from a Japanese research laboratory (them again !!!!), University Tokyo, which shows us a new type of MMI based on the recognition of movements via a mini-board camera. What is interesting here is the side miniaturization and adaptation of this technology to a mobile phone!

A technical prowess here is the inclusion of 3D movement (whereas the iPhone and its competitors do not take into account the horizontal and vertical movements! !), which allows for example to create 3D designs! One might also note that the ability to remotely capture the gestures will help keep the glass from his phone cleaner longer (just kidding of course )!!!. All this, however, is to take a step back, because on the video, we see a power cable connected to the mobile, which suggests that this is a consumer of energy. We all also have experiences of unsolicited calls with our touch screens that have not gone to sleep. So, imagine the scene without having to touch the screen!

So I say to monitor technology and above all a true interest for the future of HCI!
